Release Information[edit | edit source]
- Release date: May 2000.
General Information[edit | edit source]
- Total songs: 30. (Seven are remixes.)
- "OBG" in the title stands for "Oldies but Goodies". This refers to the K-Pop licenses in this game, which focus on slightly older songs rather than contemporary hits. The original songs also are modeled after older K-Pop.
- Song discs are now curved rectangles rather than circles.
- OBG's engine supports lossless texture compression, increasing the quality of some graphics.
- The judgment animation is more subtle and the COMBO graphic is not displayed.
- The miss combo meter appears. Earning 50 miss combo causes you to fail.
- Both miss combo failure and stage break use the "Hey! Why can't you just get up and dance, man?" screen now.
- The Event Mode song select displays the "Double Mode" graphic on each disc that is a Double Mode disc, as double and non-double charts can now appear on the same screen.
- The 3D dancer used in Nonstop Remix mode is gone. Each remix has an original BG animation instead.
