Release Information[edit | edit source]
- Release date: January 2000-September 2001
General Information[edit | edit source]
- The Fusion is a series of Pump it Up home releases, and also the title of the first game in that series.
- All games in this series share the same engine, used basically unmodified. It is essentially a crude remake/clone of the Pump engine written in Borland Delphi.
- The interface is based on 2nd Dance Floor's Event Mode interface.
- Evolutionary Dance Floor uses a functionally identical interface that has been reskinned to more closely resemble The Premiere.
- The only available modes are Normal, Hard, and Double. Nonstop Remixes and Crazy charts, when present, are included as separate entries in the Hard folder.
- This makes The Fusion OBG the first game in the Pump series not to require a code to play Crazy charts.
- BGAs are stored as low-quality AVI files and are watermarked. There are a number of different video playback options accessible from the options menu.
